Welcome to the History subject page

We will learn more about world history in Form 3. The first topic we will discuss is the French Revolution. you will learn what the word 'revolution' means and why this revolution was so significant for Europe and the Caribbean.
After the French Revolution, you will learn more about the 19th century: an exciting time with a lot of inventions, political changes and new ideas.
In the beginning of the 20th century the world was at war: It was the first Worl War! you will learn, why this war started, who were involved and what the consequenses were of this war.
After WWI there was a treaty signed: The Treaty of Versailles: you will find out what anne_frankthis Treaty entailed and how it stimulated Hitler to come to power.
Soon after Hitler comes to power the world sees another war: the second World War.
When we look back at the 20th century some historians say:' you can divide the century in two: before WWII and after.' It is clear that WWII influenced the world tremendously and we are going to investigate
why and how.
