Last week Thursday, in a filled auditorium with students wearing a variety of other green colors besides their regular green shirts in connection with earth day, the school’s PTA made a presentation to the Foundation “Heart for Haiti” represented by Mr. Marc Smoorenburg. A check of US$ 6,000.- was presented by Mrs. Ursula Dijkhoffz, the President of the PTA. The Heart for Haiti Foundation has under its umbrella the school “Bon Repos” that caters for approximately 300 students in the age of 4-18. During the earthquake the school was heavily damaged and actually collapsed. This school will be rebuilt with funds from sponsors from the Netherlands.

In the past St. Dominic High School offered several computer courses. They were always a big success. For that reason and the fact that the school would like to share its computer lab with the community, the St. Dominic P.T.A. in cooperation with the school will again organize several interesting courses for parents and other interested persons.

This time courses will be offered in Word Processing (MS Word), Spreadsheets (MS Excel) and the use of internet. 

All these courses are aimed for persons who are more or less on a beginners' level. Registration for two courses gives you a discount of US$ 25.-
